Means Worldwide Klezmer Festival in Argentina.
After the success of the First Klezfiesta in 2008, our wish is to carry out the Second Worlwide Klezmer Festival in our country, willing that this time the program is even of higher magnitude, gathering a more diverse and wider audience; and attaining in this way the spreading of this music style admired by massive audiences throughout the world, going through languages and borders, conquering those who enjoy and dance at its beat; and, mainly, cooperating with integration of the different cultures that live in our homeland.

Is sponsored by the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and has been declared of cultural interest by the Secretary of Culture of the National Presidency by the Honorable Senate of Argentine Nation,by the Legislative Body of Buenos Aires City, by the Tourism Secretary of the Nation, by the Ministry of Culture of Slovakia Republic (Bratislava), by Local Governments of Provinces of Córdoba, Mendoza and Entre Ríos,and by over 10 embassies at Buenos Aires City. |

Shows in Theaters, Cultural and Community Centers, universities, museums, embassies, churches, synagogues, open air concerts to be given downtown at midday, and a large Concert in “Planetario” in Palermo Park.

In the context of the KLEZFIESTA 2009, the renowned German clarinet player CHRISTIAN DAWID, will lecture 3 workshops in which he will teach and show their skills on the subject:”Participation of clarinet in klezmer Music”.
These Workshops will have a length of 2 hours and will take place in the offices of the A.P.O. "Asociación del Profesorado Orquestal" located in Sarmiento Street 1676, from Buenos Aires City.
Days and time of the Workshops will be: Mon. 9 Nov- Tue.10 Nov.- Wed. 11 Nov all between 12am and 2 pm.
